Our Diagnostic & Treatment Technology
We’re passionate about providing eye care supported by technology that allows us to see even very subtle damage to the delicate structures of your eyes. When we can catch and address concerns early, we’re better able to protect your vision for the future.
Technology isn’t only about accuracy; it’s also about providing you peace of mind, knowing your eye health is in skilled hands.
Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCT-A) is a noninvasive imaging technology that captures detailed views of retinal blood vessels without the use of dyes. It’s especially helpful in diagnosing and monitoring conditions like macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
For our patients, it provides a fast and comfortable way to detect blood flow issues early, enabling us to develop a plan to preserve their vision.
OCT-A is helpful in diagnosing many eye conditions, including:
- Macular hole
- Macular pucker
- Macular edema
- Age-related macular Degeneration
- Glaucoma
- Central serous retinopathy
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Vitreous traction
Optos retinal photography uses ultra-widefield imaging to capture up to 80% of your retina in a single image, compared to 15% through traditional methods.
This quick, noninvasive scan helps identify early signs of diseases like diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. In many cases, we don’t need to dilate your eyes when performing retinal photography, so you benefit from avoiding the light sensitivity and blurred vision associated with dilation. We gain the ability to detect eye conditions at the earliest stages that may otherwise remain undetected during traditional eye exams.
LipiView is a dry eye diagnostic tool that evaluates the tear film’s oil layer and how you blink. This helps us gain an accurate diagnosis of meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), the leading cause of dry eye disease.
This noninvasive test takes only minutes and allows your optometrist to assess your tear quality and meibomian gland health in real time. By allowing us to clearly identify the root causes of your dry eye, LipiView supports our tailored treatment plans, helping us provide you with relief and comfort if you’re living with ongoing discomfort.
Dry eye is a chronic condition, but understanding the health of your meibomian glands is the first step to protecting your eyes against further damage. Learn more about how we tackle dry eye disease.
OptiLIGHT IPL (intense pulsed light) is explicitly designed to treat dry eye disease caused by meibomian gland dysfunction. It uses gentle pulses of light to reduce inflammation and improve gland function with minimal discomfort. For our patients, OptiLIGHT offers a safe and effective solution to alleviate symptoms such as irritation, redness, and eye fatigue, providing longer-lasting relief with just a few sessions.
In your dry eye exam, we can detect dry eye and determine whether IPL might be an effective treatment for you.
OptiPLUS RF uses radiofrequency energy to deliver targeted warmth to the eyelids, stimulating collagen production and addressing dry eye symptoms. The treatment improves meibomian gland function, promoting a healthier tear film and reducing irritation.
For you, it’s designed to be a comfortable experience with longer-term benefits, including symptom relief and enhanced eye comfort.

Protect Your Nearsighted Child’s Vision with Myopia Control
If your child is nearsighted, regular glasses often aren’t enough. We can do more to protect their vision thanks to myopia control!
A nearsighted child can’t clearly see distant objects, and their sight tends to worsen as they grow. Typically, this worsening vision is due to their eyes growing longer than necessary, which raises the risk of certain eye diseases in the future.
With myopia control, we can prescribe specialized contact lenses that can correct their vision and slow the unwanted elongation of their eyes. We can also prescribe uniquely formulated eyedrops to slow the elongation of the eyes.
